Hello everyone. I think today went very well. However, your presentations were below expectations! Your voices were very soft and I could not hear most of what you presented. That aside, I think it was a very good effort. I could tell some of you put in a lot of effort for the presentation vanguard sheet and your speech.

There are several who did very well. I will post the pictures tomorrow maybe.

Science was fun, wasn't it? You Geniuses participate most when it is time for Science. Even the soft spoken ones among you participate like Fernanda, Christine, Dawn, Sze Kaye, Kimmy, Ashley, You Xuan, Cait, Yi Hui and Song Lin. This is why I enjoy teaching Science. I get to listen to all your opinions!

Mark told the class something very interesting which I did not know recently. The flying fish can actually use its tail to propel itself back up in the air without diving back into water! That is a very cool piece of information! We spoke of many things. Neanderthals, fire ants, beetles and what it would be like if the animal kingdom had human intelligence!

I hate violence in the classroom. It seems there is a rise of violence among you. I will not mention any names but the actions include, pinching, kicking, punching, pushing and even spitting!

These acts are disgusting and cowardly! It is not fit for Lasallians who are grouped under the names of Courage, Hope, Joy, Love, Effort and Wisdom. I have said from the first day I met you that bullies are cowards and violence is for the mindless. Bullies can come in many forms. Insulting and name calling is bullying too. Only cowards bully.

Before you do anything to hurt anyone, think to yourself: Am I really a coward to do such a cowardly thing? Am I really incapable of using my brains?

You are good young boys and girls with excellent minds. I do not see any reason for you to behave foolishly! Especially towards your friends.

My respect for you will continue to lower if I hear anymore complains about you hitting, pushing, pinching, kicking, spitting or insulting anyone.

Remember this now, and for life: Bullying is for the weak. The strong and wise will walk away to avoid any more anger or fights. It is easy to hurt other people but it takes courage to walk away. Be proud of walking away because it means you have won.
