Today was not as bad as I expected even though I had a headache for the whole day. We started out with English. We were reading a poem about Filipino hand gestures and I demonstrated the gestures to the class. When I came to one gesture where I had to pout my lips (some Asians point using pouted lips), the class went, Eeeeeeee! (-_-")
I saw some boys demonstrating it among themselves. For example:
Warren: Hey, where is Elroy? There! *pouts lips at Elroy*
Elroy: Eeeeeeeeeeeee!
I can also see some of the girls secretly pout their lips. Hahahahahahahah!
Anyway, we also learned about past and present continuous tenses. It was quite easy. All of the Gs managed to identify them in the story 'How Rice Came to the Phillipines'. It was a funny story. When rice was given to the Filipinos by the gods, they thought the gods have given them worms!
Science was a revision of yesterday's Fungi topic and also introduction to Bacteria which looks cute.

Just now, I made jelly on some petri dishes to collect bacteria from the class. Firstly I asked the class to run their hands through their hair and against their sleeves to gather bacteria and then press their fingerprint on the jelly. This Monday, we will check to see if there are any fungi growth or any bacteria growth by looking through a microscope.
I think Group Wisdom's jelly will have the most bacteria because I heard the boys wanted to make their hands as dirty as possible before pressing their finger (-_-") Silly boys. I hope they did not shove their hands down their shorts or dig their noses or something like that. That would be disgusting!!!

Water is deadly in massive doses which exceed the normal amount that someone might consume. Similarly, Fly Agaric is only deadly if ingested in large quantities which far exceed the "norm" that someone would consume (either mistakenly or deliberately for the hallucinogenic properties) - around 15 mature caps. My point being that EVERYTHING is deadly in sufficient quantity. There are only a handful of mushrooms which can be considered truly deadly, as even a small quantity can result in untreatable symptoms followed by death, eg. the Death Cap and the Destroying Angel.
